Meticulous Sound Bites #2

Hey everyone,

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Meticulous Sound Music Group is back in session! This past weekend was such an exciting experience on two fronts!

On Friday night, the Meticulous Sound crew attended the Fernbank Museum IMAX and Martinis – Salsambo Dance Company to dance to the Latin music and recruit some potential models for the “All I Want Is You” video shoot. The scene was one that depicted the atmosphere of a typical night in Miami!

According to Joe Beats, the women, food, music and crowd were both exotic and energetic. However, on the other hand, the Meticulous Sound ladies thought that the men were sophisticated, debonair, with a lil mix of a hot and exotic Latin edge. Mainly, the dance scene was one that was filled with a diverse and ecletic mix of people! The quote of the night was when Joe Beats said that “The Latin Cuisine wanted to turn you into a Latin Machine”!

The movie Dance With Me is a prime example of what type of atomsphere was at the dance!

As I said before, there were two events on two fronts! This past weekend, we had a street team at the University of Georgia in the down town Athens! Our mission was to find out which venues were focused on the catering to the electronica and dubstep market! DT Athens is such an amazing place! A lot of the people there are in their 20s and are very opened minded to new styles of music! One of the hot spots was the Bad Manor!

So later that night, we found out a lot of insider info about the Down Town Athens scene! If you are a fan of hip hop, electronica, pop and dubstep…you need to hit up DT Athens! Eventually, we met up with a fre$h DJ at the Bad Manor by the name of Feral Youth. He really tore up the party scene by playing an ecletic mix of rap tracks on dubstep beats! I must say, electronica music is such an amazing experience!

To conclude, that was mainly our weekend in a nutshell! We got a lot done and are ready for our video shoot this up-coming weekend! Stay tuned for the next blog! We will have a lot of more fre$h news!

Hey everyone!

Today is day two of our Meticulous Sound Bites!

So mainly here’s a recap of where i left off on Tuesday:

http://meticuloussoundblog.blogspot.com/

So mainly, last week was very exciting and jam packed! Last Thursday, Q100, one of Atlanta top radio stations, was hosting an event with Jezebel Magazine! The goal of the event was to showcase the “face lift” of the magazine! It was a pretty fre$h event! There were models from CMT, dancers and cheerleaders from the Atlanta Hawks any many other journalists, fashion experts, and stylists in the industry! It was definitely a great outlet to network, sip on some Chardonnay and listen to great music. Just when you thought the drinks, the desserts and the hors d’oeuvres were the main attraction….Adam Lambert stepped in the building to get the party jumping!

Well…that’s what we thought! Little to my surprise, it was just a GLAMBERT! If you do not know what a Glambert is, it’s a hardcore Adam Lambert fan! So Joe Beats was telling me “Yo Adam Lambert is here..he’s chilling in the audience..right next to the stage.”

Once i heard that, i was like…”ohh snap.. Lambert must be one of those chill and laid back dudes who just chills in the audience like a regular”. Haha…I knew he was on American Idol, but i never heard his music before! I did not know he was such a huge pop star! So when we discovered that the Glambert was just an impostor, more and more glamberts started to appear!

Then later that night…the real deal…American Idol..Adam Lambert hit the stage..and killed it! Adam Lambert is such  an amazing performer! He has a powerful stage presence! In addition, Lambert’s songs were very catchy! At first, I didn’t know what the hype was with Adam Lambert…but now I know…buddy can SING!

Not only could Adam Lambert sing..but he also had the rock star swag that got the audience grooving and moving to the music! One of my favorite songs that he did was “If I Had You”! I was feeling this track to the point where days later I was singing it and contemplating whether or not I wanted to buy in on iTunes!

Oh yea, i totally forgot to mention, that Joe Beats and I got some fre$h pictures at the event as well! Be sure to check them out!

Oh yea..i forgot to mention…later that night, our track “All I Want Is You” was played at the party as well! A lot of people in the crowd were feeling it! Shout out to DJ Mike B for making it happen!

To Conclude:

The experience was awesome! Pop music is where it’s at! My tips for the readers out there would be listen to music with an open mind! If you’re an artist, make music that can crossover to other niches and genres! Music is music! Make great music!
